SUMMARY:Cowboy Poetry
DESCRIPTION:The Bragg Creek And Greater Area Historical Society hosted Doris Daley as part of our ongoing series of lectures. This lecture series is designed to entertain and inform our members and interested visitors\n\nInternationally acclaimed Cowboy Poet, Doris Daley, delighted the audience with heartwarming stories steeped in classic rural Alberta culture. Doris shared her poems such as “FARMWIVES OF ALBERTA” and “THREE QUARTER TIME” which provoked memories and emotion among the spellbound crowd. Local resident, Clint Docken, served as host and recited his original poems as well as the humorous “BRAGG CREEK CROCODILES” by Bragg Creek frontiersman and settler Joe Woolings.\n
